·        Admission is based on an entrance test as given below.

 

·        Sainik Schools admit boys in classes VI & IX on the basis of their merit in the Entrance Examination and an Interview followed by medical examination.

AGE LIMIT

Boys seeking admission in class VI should be 10-11 yrs of age and for Class IX  should be aged 13-14 yrs  as on 01 July in the year admission is being sought .

 

·        The admission test  is conducted on the 1st Sunday of January at the following centres .

·        1) Guwahati  2) New Bongaigaon  3)Goalpara 4)Shillong 5)Gangtok

 

·        Number of centres are subject to change

Detailed prospectus containing complete information and application form is  available for sale from October to December every year which can be obtained on  payment cost of the prospectus is as under:-
